Gray Sky AI exists to build something different: Human Alignment AI. Not AI aligned to tasks. Not AI aligned to engagement metrics or session length. AI that is genuinely, measurably aligned to the human it's talking to—one that expands your thinking rather than replacing it, draws out insight rather than burying it, and leaves you more capable and self-directed than when you started.
Our flagship product, Grace, is the expression of that philosophy. She's trained from the ground up to function as a mirror rather than a megaphone—to ask the right questions, hold the right space, and shape conversations so that you are the one steering, deciding, and growing.
But we're not content to just claim it. Human Alignment is something we believe should be rigorously measured, not assumed. That's why we founded humanitybench.org—an open benchmark for evaluating whether AI systems genuinely foster human autonomy or quietly cultivate dependency. We think this is one of the most important questions in AI alignment, and we're committed to building the quantitative frameworks to answer it.
We also develop enterprise automation tools for the child welfare industry, helping agencies reduce administrative burden and redirect human attention to the humans who need it most.
